Comité Fronterizo
de Obrer@s

For the labor rights and all human rights of the maquiladora workers

How to communicate with the CFO

Important note: please read first

The Comité Fronterizo de Obreras has many friends who support the workers in Mexico and other countries. We respond to their questions to the best of our possibilities.

Our focus is the organizing of workers in the Mexican border cities. We want to disseminate information about the situation in which the workers live and work, and our struggles for labor rights and dignity. At the same time, we do not specialize in the provision of informational services. Our website is an effort to bring visibility to some of our experiences. We hope many questions about workers and the maquiladoras will be responded in the different pages of our website or through other internet sources. It is possible that basic questions addressed to us about the situation in the maquiladoras or for suggesting resources, as well as information requests for school assignments, research and academic projects will not be responded. For all 2007 the CFO will be unable to host paid or unpaid interns, volunteers or students on academic assignments for more than three days.

Thanks for your understanding.

If you wish to contact us, the most convenient way is writing an email message to Julia Quiñonez/CFO at
